Andy’s Animal Acres is hosting their fourth annual 101 Pumpkin event on Oct. 29.

This year live country music will be part of the festivities with music from The Mack Station Country Band. They are a group of five siblings from Merritt who were the winners of the 2015 Spirit of the West Rising Star Showcase Competition.

The first 101 kids in costume to come to the farm will receive their own pumpkin with admission. Organizers ask that people bring their own carving ideas and utensils. Kids can take their pumpkin home for Halloween and leave the carving mess behind.

In addition to those activities there will also be apple bobbing, pony rides and a photographer on that can take family Halloween photos.

Admission is $8 per person or $30 for a family of four (children under one year are free). Pony rides are $5. Cash only for admission and pony rides.
