It was Romp plus one recently at the popular Okanagan Lake waterfront statue as a young member of the ITU Multisport World Championships - Cross Triathlon spectators decided to strike a pose Wednesday.
ITU events will continue throughout the weekend and will include the Kids Triathlon which begins at 8 a.m. Saturday and is a community, family-friendly event where kids will race along historic Lakeshore Drive and finish under the World Championship banner just like some of the best triathletes in the world. Weather conditions are expected to remain hot and sunny. The events portion of the ITU event wraps up Sunday with the long distance triathlon.
