Penticton Art Gallery offers small wonders

For the sixth year in a row, the Penticton Art Gallery is offering an opportunity to purchase art works and fine crafts at an affordable price.

The Small Wonder: Under $300 Exhibition and Sale continues in the gallery until  Dec. 24.

Building on the success of the previous years, this year’s selection features a wide range of work in a variety of disciplines created by artists from across the province.

According to the organizers, this is a great opportunity to not only see the incredible range of work being created today, but also offers the opportunity to discover a new and exciting artist as well as give those on your Christmas list a one-of-a-kind present.

This exhibition has become an important end-of-season fundraiser for both the participating artists and the gallery.

Unlike most exhibitions once a work is purchased and paid for, the purchaser is free to take the art “off the wall” and take it home. Each artist has been asked to submit a current biography and an artist statement which will be made available to accompany each piece.
