Summerland Secondary School presents Hairspray!

With big hair and big hearts, Summerland Secondary School students will bring the musical Hairspray! to Centre Stage Theatre.

The story revolves around Tracy Turnblad who has only one passion, to dance. She wins a spot on the local TV dance program, The Corny Collins Show, and is quickly transformed into a teen celebrity. Shen then successfully sets out to vanquish the program's reigning princess, win the heart of the super handsome Link Larkin and racially integrate the television show.

Hairspray! is now playing at the Centre Stage Theatre. Showtimes are Feb. 13 to 16 at 7 p.m. nightly and Feb. 20 to 23 at 7 p.m. nightly. Tickets are on sale at the Summerland Secondary School office or at the Beanery for $13.
