The second annual Grand Sommelier Express raised $2,508 for the Kettle Valley Steam Railway Society.
The special train ride, on June 24, featured local wine, cider and beer from members of Summerland’s Bottleneck Drive Association at tasting stations as well as samples onboard the historic team train.
The train ride, with more than 175 guests were in attendance, was followed by a three-course dinner prepared by Chef Darin Paterson.
Funds were raised through a live and silent auction.
