Penticton Fire Department responded to a car fire late on Friday night, Feb. 28.
The vehicle, parked on the street near the intersection of Caribou St. and Orchard Ave., was fully engulfed in flames which multiple passersby recorded.

At one point, the flames caused an explosion that was audible around the area, according to residents posting about the fire on Facebook.
