Penticton celebrates Canada Day
A full day of events were scheduled last Friday at Gyro Park to celebrate Canada Day.
The day kicked off with a pancake breakfast served by the Quota Club and South Okanagan Women In Need Society. A public market and international food fair filled Gyro Park while entertainment played in the Gyro bandshell.
The day ended with fireworks over Okanagan Lake thanks to community minded businesses and individuals who donated $13,277.30 to pay for them.
