Electrical rate meeting date postponed
The City of Penticton is postponing the public input opportunity on the proposed 2012 electrical rate increases.
Originally set for next Monday, the city has rescheduled the meeting for Wednesday, Jan. 18, at 6 p.m. in the council chambers at City Hall, 171 Main St. Staff indicated the later date could afford residents more time to digest the detailed information and various options presented.
Residents looking to provide information on electrical rates can attend that meeting. Anyone needing additional information can visit www.penticton.ca or contact operations director Mitch Moroziuk at 250-490-2515 or mitch.moroziuk@penticton.ca.
