Penticton RCMP arrest woman for robbery
A woman has been arrested for allegedly being involved in a robbery by knife point of a Penticton fast food restaurant.
RCMP responded to a robbery at the Subway restaurant on Martin Street on Dec. 6 at approximately 7 a.m. Sgt. Rick Dellebuur said investigation revealed that a middle-aged female wearing a mask entered the Subway with a knife and demanded money. The woman then departed with a small amount of cash. Later that same day RCMP responded to another disturbance involving a female that was "acting very unusual."
Dellebuur said investigators were able to determine the female involved in the disturbance was the same female involved in the Subway robbery. A 46-year-old woman, whose name was not released by RCMP, was arrested. She has been released to appear in Penticton court in January 2013.
