Two Penticton residents are facing charges after RCMP located cocaine and marijuana during a search warrant.

On Jan. 17 RCMP stopped a vehicle on Skaha Lake Road which was followed by a drug search warrant executed by Penticton RCMP Drug Task Force officers in the 150 block of Lee Avenue.

Keenan Lance Owens and Ashley Paige Jonasson, both 21 years old, were arrested and officers located numerous small packages of powder cocaine packaged for street level sales and a pound of marijuana. Officers also seized around $4,000 in cash and drug trafficking paraphernalia. Both suspects were held for court and released on bail.

Owens and Paige face two charges of possession of both cocaine and marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.
