Penticton RCMP arrested a male after they discovered a large number of packets of crack cocaine for street level sales.

Cpl. Brad Myhre said Drug Task Force officers pulled over a vehicle occupied by a female driver and a 42 year old male passenger on Fairview Road on March 21. Both were brought back to RCMP cells where the female was leader released with no charges and the male was held for court facing charges of possession of cocaine of the purpose of trafficking and breach of probation.

Myhre said the male suspect was found to have a lengthy CPIC criminal record with numerous previous convictions for drug trafficking and was also currently on probation for trafficking and firearms offences.
