Meet up with the Canadian Armed Forces Snowbirds and Skyhawk Precision Parachute Team before they take to the skies over Penticton on the opening night of the Peach Festival.

The team members will be in Okanagan Lake Park on Wednesday, Aug. 9 at 7:15 p.m. for an autograph session.

Hang around after to enjoy the afternoon entertainment, which includes the Mega Motocross show and then Elton Lammie on the Peters Bros. mainstage before the two air teams, along with the CF18 Hornet, bring the skies alive.

Organizers of the Penticton Air Display said there will be no boat access to and from the marina or the Lakeside docks for the duration of the air display. Boats will not be allowed in the area from the pump house along Highway 97 to straight across Okanagan Lake and down to the beaches.

The Skyhawks will hit the air to begin their descent into Okanagan Lake Park at 5 p.m., followed by the Snowbirds air demonstration at 6 p.m. and the CF 18 Hornet at 7 p.m.
