Crews called to vehicle rollover near Summerland

Jaws of Life used to remove occupant from vehicle

Emergency crews were called to a vehicle rollover on Highway 97 near Sunoka Provincial Park south of Summerland on Thursday evening.

The call came in around 10:15 p.m. after a vehicle rolled over near the provincial park.

Police, firefighters and paramedics attended.

The Summerland Fire Department used the Jaws of Life to remove one occupant from the vehicle.

The occupant was then transported to hospital.
