Crosswalk being installed on South Main Street

The City of Penticton will be installing a crosswalk on South Main Street

A crosswalk is being installed on South Main Street between Lee Avenue and Brantford Avenue.

According to the city map, the crosswalk will be located at the junction of the walking path from Skaha Lake Park and South Main Street across to Lake Skaha Tent and Trailer Park (3700 South Main St.).

The City of Penticton said the work will result in some partial and full road closures and detours. Drivers are reminded to follow the signage, obey traffic control persons and exercise caution anywhere in the vicinity of construction activity.
