A longtime member of the Oliver Fire Department is taking over as chief.

Bob Graham has been an active member of the department for a quarter-century, and deputy fire chief since 2011.

“I am looking forward to continuing to support the Town of Oliver and its residents as fire chief,” said Graham in a release. “It is an honour to lead an incredible group of fire service professionals.”

Graham took over as fire chief as of March 3, replacing Dan Skaros who took a position at the new Okanagan Correctional Centre, which was completed last fall.
