A notice sent out by the Penticton Indian Band and the City of Penticton is advising that Green Mountain Road will be closed between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 17.
The closure is located approximately nine kilometres west of the intersection of the Channel Parkway and Green Mountain Road. Traffic headed in both directions will be affected.
This closure is necessary to remove the temporary detour bridge that was installed prior to the construction of the new bridge at Shingle Creek.
