Mount Baldy Festival of Colours continues this weekend.

Baldy Mountain Resort is hosting their second weekend of the Festival of Colours Oct. 22 to 23 from noon to 4 pm.

Guests can partake in several activities, including riding the Sugar Lump chairlift up to the summit and visits from some top notch special guests: Oliver Osoyoos Winery Association offering wine,  tastings, Firehall Brewery sampling their brews, SORCO - Rapture Centre will make an appearance with the great Houdini the Owl and Scott Brother’s Coffee Co. serving espresso.

Visitors are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food, household item or cash donation for the Oliver Food Bank and cash donations for SORCO.

In case tummies start rumbling, they will also be serving free hotdogs and burgers. Guests can meet the Baldy team, apply for a job, and pick up and purchase their '16-17 Baldy season pass.

Last weekend the event hosted around 300 guests and sold 150 season passes.

With nearly 50 centimetres of snow sitting at the top of the Eagle Chair, there may not be much time between the end of the Festival and opening for the winter. Mount Baldy's official opening date is Dec. 1, however, if they receive enough snow (75 cm) before then, they will open for the weekends.
