The Oliver volunteer fire department was called to a structure fire on Sunday morning.
Firefighter Grant Stevely said they rushed to the fire located at 5847 Main St. at 6:35 a.m. where they found one of the three buildings on the property involved.
According to Stevely, the one level, apartment suite was unoccupied at the time and the cause of the fire is under investigation. He added it is believed the fire was started externally.
Firefighters worked on the blaze for two hours, from initial response to mop up.
