Two-vehicle crash involving motorcycle snarls Hwy 97 traffic

One person was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries

A Friday afternoon crash involving a motorcycle slowed traffic in the Trout Creek area of Summerland around the intersection of Highway 97 and Green Lake Road.

A motorcycle and a car were both involved in the crash, with just minor damage apparent on the car, while one person was taken to hospital by ambulance.

The Summerland Fire Department was on the scene to conduct cleanup work, and traffic appears to be picking up again.
