Vernon RCMP investigating abandoned truck fire

Vehicle found fully engulfed at 4:30 a.m. Thursday, May 9

​An early morning vehicle fire investigation has been turned over to the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP.

The Coldstream Fire Department responded to a call at 4:25 a.m. Thursday, May 9, about a fully engulfed vehicle fire on Clerke Road.

The vehicle, a pick-up truck, had been abandoned.

Eleven firefighters from the Coldstream department extinguished the blaze, then turned the matter over to police.
