1977-2016
After a courageous battle with cancer, Amy Elissa (Howitt) Bailey of Kaleden, BC passed away June 30, 2016 at Penticton Regional Hospital. Amy was born April 3, 1977 in Terrace, BC, grew up in Aldergrove, BC, graduated from BCIT in 1997, and earned her CPA and CMA designation in 2004. Amy was the Financial Controller at Black Hills Winery. She loved to travel, was devoted to her family and friends, and remained spirited and vibrant, even throughout her final months. Amy is survived by her parents Ronald and Nioma (Wylie) Howitt, husband, Brody Bailey, daughter, Sydney, sons, Hunter and Odin, all of Kaleden, BC; her sister, Kellie Howitt, Prince George, BC; and many aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews. Amy’s ashes will be interred at the Kaleden Cemetery. There will be a service for Amy at the Kaleden Community Hall on July 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
