The family of Anastassios Portalakis is celebrating 78 years of his life. He was a hardworking, dedicated man who took pride in everything he did. He loved his family and treasured his friends and wanted the best for those he loved. He was a resilient man who held his head high and worked hard for his family. He will be missed by his wife Zacharenia Portalaki; his three children Kosta, Minas (Vickie), Eftalia (Jeff); his three grandchildren Anastassios, Pellagia, and Matthias; his brothers Mixalis and Giannis Portalakis; his sisters Eluetheria Peribolari and Katerina Pneumatikaki; and many very close friends. Anastassios was predeceased by his mother Eftalia, and his brothers Minas and Kosta. A service will be held on Tuesday January 13, 2015 at 10:00 am at the Saint Saviour’s Anglican Church in Penticton with Father Kosta Kaltsidis officiating.
Interment at Penticton Lakeview Cemetery followed by a reception at
Theo’s Restaurant at 1:00 pm.
