Betty Clark

On July 21, Betty passed away peacefully in Penticton, BC surrounded by family. Born in Vancouver in 1929, she was 86. She is survived by husband Phil, sons Chris and Mickey, brother Ron MacDonald and nieces and nephews Lani, Nina, Stan, Gordon, Rob, Patricia and Glen. She was a warm-hearted, intelligent and caring person who anyone in the family could go to when in need of advice when faced with those important life decisions. Her impact on her community extend well beyond her family. She was very involved in the arts in Penticton where she had a tremendous impact. Only a few of the events and organizations she had a hand in were the BC Festival of the Arts, Penticton International Auction of Fine Art (Founder), Okanagan Symphony Society (President, Penticton Chapter) and the Penticton Arts Council. She also managed the career of husband and fine artist Phil Clark. Anyone wishing to pay their respects are invited to an informal open house at 2880 Paris St., Penticton on August 24 from 2:00 to 4:00pm.
