We are saddened to announce the passing of Bruce Howe Fotheringham in Penticton, BC. Bruce was born to Mabel and David Fotheringham on Christmas Day 1937, in Watrous, SK, where he lived his early years. Bruce was a sports enthusiast, an accomplished high school pole vaulter and played Saskatoon League basketball for many years. He was a graduate in law from the University of Saskatchewan and practiced law in Prince Albert, SK, Penticton, BC, Whitehorse, YT and Saskatoon, SK. Prior to his law career, Bruce taught school in Purdue, SK. Bruce will be fondly remembered by his children, Colleen Foxwell, Steveston, BC, grandchildren Emily, Sarah, Jared; son Ian (Jennifer), Penticton, BC, grandchildren Ryan, Lindsay, Scott; sister Joan Anderson (Al), Saskatoon, SK; nieces Jackie (Harry) Smith, Judy(David) Jahnke, Karen (Pat) Kelly; nephew Kirk (Shauna) Anderson. He was predeceased by his parents Mabel and David Fotheringham and his nephew Douglas Anderson. Memorial Service and interment will be held in Watrous, SK at a later date. Condolences may be left at Providence Funeral Homes and Crematorium in Penticton, BC.
