RUSU, Constantin
It is with sad hearts that we announce the passing of Constantin on September 5th, 2017 at 92 years of age.
Loving husband of Margaret Rose with whom he celebrated 50 years of marriage on March 31st, 2017.
Much loved and devoted father of Mary-Jo Rusu and Christina Lucier. Cherished grandfather of Celine, Janelle, and Joshua Lucier.
He will be deeply missed by his wife Margaret Rose, his children, grandchildren, his brother Costache Mazuru and wife Elena, many nieces, nephews, God-children, the Lucier family, and his friends in Windsor, Ontario, the United States and in his homeland of Romania.
He shared his joyful spirit with all the new friends he made during his final years in Penticton.
Constantin immigrated to Canada in 1952 and created a beautiful life for his wife and children.
He retired from the Chrysler Company in Windsor, Ontario after 37 years of dedicated service.
Special thanks to Mandeep Kaur, who made each of his days brighter with her loving care in his final years.
Eternal rest grant unto him, Oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him! May he rest in peace. Amen.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 - 7:30 p.m. on Monday, September 11th, 2017 at Everden Rust Funeral Services, 1130 Carmi Avenue in Penticton with a rosary to be led by Father Rex Velmonte at 6:00 p.m.
A funeral service will be led by Father Kostadinas Kalstidas on Tuesday, September 12th, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Greek Orthodox Church in Penticton, 1265 Fairview Road.
