Genevieve passed away on Sunday, May 22, 2016 at Penticton Regional Hospital. She is survived by her children, son Darrell Achen, son Murray (Jane) Achen; grandchildren, Chris, Shálon; great grandchildren, Beckett, Alexa and Caden; daughter Desirée (Jose) Briones; grandchildren, Tarik and Sophia. Genevieve was an active member of The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 40 since her move to Penticton in 1969. A celebration of her life will be held at the Penticton Legion on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 1PM.
