SCHELLENBERG, Harold Tracy
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our husband and father Harold Schellenberg on September 4th, 2017. Harold is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Donna; sons, Dean (Debbie), Gord (Kerry), Glen; and grandson Brandon. He was predeceased by his son Vance in 1990. Harold and Donna moved to Penticton in 1958. Harold worked as a travelling salesman until a career change in 1969. Wanting to be home more with his wife and four boys Harold went to work for Pemberton Securities as a stock broker, eventually becoming the manager of the Penticton branch. He was involved with the Scouts, minor hockey, curling and the Kiwanis. Harold retired in 1986 and kept busy by volunteering on the board of the Penticton Regional Hospital, travelling the world with Donna, and golfing. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation, Community Foundation South Okanagan/Similkameen, or a charity of your choice.
