Karl Arend passed away peacefully on January 6, 2017 at the age of 81 years. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Christel, two daughters; Marian (Kevin) of Langley, BC, and Karin of Waterford, Ontario, four grandchildren; Kristopher, Jason, Jennifer, Roy, and one great grandchild Austin. Karl-Heinz Arend was born on May 12, 1935 in Hannover, Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1957. He was a very caring family man and will be greatly missed. The family would like to thank the care team at the Moog and Friends Hospice House for the wonderful care and comfort for Karl-Heinz. In memory of Karl-Heinz memorial tributes may be made to the B.C. Lung Association 2675 Oak St., Vancouver, BC V6H 2K2.
