September 16, 1991-April 26, 2015
Manny left us on April 26. He faced death as he faced everything else, with his quiet bravery and gentle nature. He was surrounded by people who loved him and it was a very peaceful departure.
Manny touched many lives. Though his ability to communicate was limited by his malady, people were drawn to him. Many people with disabilities live lonely lives, but Manny was the center of a community devoted to dignity, decency and caring. Words will never express the gratitude Manny’s family feels to each and every person who reached out to him in his difficult life with affection and meaning.
A Memorial for Manny will be held on May 9th at 2:00 pm at the West Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. All are invited to attend. You will be welcome and comforted as we remember Manny together. If you have questions or you want to talk, please call Kevin at 250-488-2909.
