Bob passed away suddenly, after a stroke, at Penticton Regional Hospital on Sunday, May 1, 2016. He is survived by Sylvia-wife, business partner and best friend; their son Robert of Calgary and their daughter Lindsay Ellis of Penticton; two grandchildren, Koston and Milla; and brother Gary of Salt Spring Island. He was predeceased by his parents, Everett and Violet (Buck and Vi) of Penticton.
Bob is well remembered as a popular entertainer throughout the Okanagan (Prime Time, The Bob & Doug Show) and, for 46 years, a welcoming host to thousands of guests at the Park Royal RV Park in Penticton.
Bob’s remains will be cremated, as per his direction. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Penticton Lakeside Resort on Sunday, May 29th at 6:30 pm.
