Defending councillor comments
I didn’t think I would ever defend Coun. Max Picton, but his comments on the homeless obviously are directed at the low-lifes who leave drug needles and garbage strewn around and chuck grocery carts into Penticton Creek, etc.
I don’t believe he was referring to those who are responsible and looking for work or are in some kind of physical or mental distress.
