New sign for the airport
Ernie Slumps’ letter (Penticton Western News, May 26, To the airport manager) expressed contempt for Greenies who complain about noisy air traffic at Penticton airport put me in mind of a billboard at the U.S. Naval airbase at Whidbey Island, Wash.
It declares “Don’t mind the noise folks, it’s the sound of freedom.”
How about a sign at Penticton airport declaring “Don’t mind the noise folks, it’s the sound of money.”
That ought to sort out those danged socialists, eh Ernie?
