Penticton Western News letters to the editor.

Request from a visitor

I am a frequent visitor to Penticton who spends a considerable amount of money on motels, restaurants and other services.

I love Penticton, especially in the fall, when it is less crowded.

However, I have one major gripe that may cause me to choose another city to visit; the public washrooms are closed too early in the year. Most of them close Oct. 1, during some of the finest weather for walking and enjoying the parks.

As a guest of your beautiful city, I implore you to keep the washrooms open as long as possible. Then myself and others can avoid the agony of relief denied, by locked public washroom doors.
