When Team World sealed a 2012 World Financial Group Continental Cup of Curling victory in Langley, Niklas Edin’s team was right in the middle of the victory celebration.

The victory tied Team World with North America at four wins.

Edin’s rink from Sweden is one of the most talented young teams on the world curling scene.  After a fourth-place finish at the 2010 Olympic Games in Vancouver, the Swedes have remained at the top of the international rankings, winning bronze medals at the World Men’s Curling Championship the past two years.

With the tie-breaker scheduled for Penticton Jan. 10 to 13, Edin is coming back to compete in the South Okanagan Events Centre along with Sebastian Kraupp, Fredrik Lindberg and Viktor Kjall.
