Pac Rim Vees win tournament in Summerland

Penticton's Pac Rim Tier 3 Vees earned a 5-2 win against Semiahmoo to clinch a Summerland hockey tournament the weekend of Jan. 13.

The two teams had met earlier but a winner couldn't be decided. The Vees opened with a 7-1 win against the hosts, then blanked West Kelowna 6-0. In the semi-finals, the Vees doubled up North Vancouver 6-3.

Most valuable player awards went to Reid Bateman, Ethan Joe and Bevis Chou.
