Penticton men's rec hockey Gord Henderson netted a hat trick, while Trevor Aubie, John McArthur and Mike Funk potted two goals each to help the EcoDry Ice Dogs dump the Hitmen 11-6 in Penticton Men's Rec Hockey League action. Ryan Drew-Scott and Nick Riep rounded out the scoring for the Ice Dogs. Brett Van Riper led the Hitmen with a hat trick. The Hitmen then lost to the Bar One Argo Bisons 5-4. Kyler Fraser led the Bisons with three goals, while Van Riper led the way for the Hitmen with two. The Game Time Sports Wolverines and Cawston Cold Storage Best Damn Wings battled to a 7-7 final. Lars Hepso, who was playing this season with the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in the BCHL, led with four goals while Aric Stickney scored twice and Nelson Bowman scored the other goal. For the Best Damn Wings, it was Jared Collen with three and Dylan Wilson with two. Lee Mowry and Cory Grieves scored the other goals for the Wings. |
Darts standings
The Smokin Aces continue to lead the standings in Penticton and District Dart Association Standings. Following weeks 18 (Feb.4), the Aces have 110 points. They, along with Best Damn Sports Bar 1 (101 points), Elks No. 1 (93 points) and Best Damn Sports Bar Snipers (91 points) scored seven points on Monday. In fifth are the Barley Mill Jokers with 84 points, the ANAF Wreckers with 80 points, the Elks Bullits with 76 points, Elks Avengers with 75, OK Falls Legion with 67 points and ANAF Vixens with 56 points round out the top 10.
