Silverbacks drop Vees 5-2

The Penticton Vees were in tough at the Shaw Centre in Salmon Arm, and came away with a 5-2 loss against the SilverBacks.

Josh Blanchard opened the scoring for the Vees  at 7:14 of the first period.  Unfortunately the Vees didn’t hit the scoreboard again until late in the third period, after the SilverBacks had scored five goals.

The Vees try to get back into the win column tonight at the SOEC where they host the Alberni Valley Bulldogs.  Puck drop is at 6 p.m.
