Apex Freestyle Club piles up medals

Apex Freestyle Club (AFC) members won eight medals during Timber Tour 2 in Whistler Feb. 3 to 5.

Leading the way for the AFC was Alec Henderson (M14) winning three gold medals in moguls, slopestyle and big air. Ainsley MacDonald (F14) earned two silver medals in moguls and slopestyle. Ethan Phillips (M16) won gold in moguls. AFC’s other medals were in Superyouth slopestyle as Alexandre Wargniez captured gold and silver in moguls.

Other AFC results were as follows: in ladies moguls F14, Jordan MacDonald, seventh, and Sasha Lovell was 10th. In mens moguls, M16, Cole Patton was sixth and Nate Parsons was seventh. In slopestyle, F14, Jordan was ninth. In M16, Andre Dreyer was fifth and Phillips was eighth. In big air, M16, Dreyer was seventh.

In superyouth female slopestyle, under-12, Charlotte Wargniez placed fifth. In U10 male, Lovell Darrah was fifth. In U14 male, Morf Ethan was seventh. In U12 female big air, Wargniez was eighth. In U10 male, Darrah was seventh. In moguls, U12 female, Wargniez placed seventh. In U10 male, Darrah was sixth. In U12 male, Grady Parsons was ninth. In U14 male, Morf Ethan was fourth.
