Gord Barnes team won Penticton’s 4-man tournament, while Linda Brussee captured the Stableford format

Gord Barnes’ team won the Penticton Senior Men’s Golf 4-man tournament on Sept.6.

Barnes, along with Albert Chenier, Alan Kregosky and Stan Simpson scored 114 (-26). The foursome of Henrik Keij, Bevan Eathorne, John Hall and Howard Tracey also score 114, but finished second on a count back.

Brussee wins Summerland Ladies action

Linda Brussee scored 36, by retrogression, to win the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club Stableford points match on Sept. 5. Finishing second was Wendy Archer with 36. The second flight winner was Barb Oleschuk 37 (by retrogression); with second going to Francces Colussi, 37. Third flight winner was Ellen Clay scoring 31 and Norma Chambers was second with 26 points.
