Jim O’Neill’s team of John Hall, Len Swift and John Perry won Penticton Senior Men’s tournament action July 12 on countback. O’Neill and the team of Doug Anderson, Ben Raine, Gary Macadam and Sid Perrott tied at -26, 114.

Brusse takes Summerland ladies action

Linda Brusee scored 87 to win the Summerland Golf and Country Ladies Club counted low gross and low net scores on July 11. Lil Smith won the low net with 77. Second flight low gross winner is Lanette Graham at 94. Vi Ward scored 76 to win low net and in the final flight, Barb Oleschuck scored 106 to take low gross, while Helen Benallick’s 74 was good enough to take low net.
