The votes are in and the B.C. Hockey League announced its all-star teams.

Making the rosters from the Penticton Vees were goalie Mat Robson and rookie Grant Cruikshank.

Robson made the first all-star team, along with Wenatchee Wild forwards Brendan Harris and Charlie Combs, Chilliwack Chiefs forward Jordan Kawaguchi and defencemen Cameron Ginnetti from the Langley Rivermen and Tyler Anderson of the Prince George Spruce Kings.

Cruikshank was selected to the All-Rookie team with (F) Cam Donaldson of the Powell River Kings, (F) Zach Risteau of the Merritt Centennials, (D) Michael Ufberg of the Vernon Vipers, (D) Trevor Cosgrove of the Alberni Valley Bulldogs and goalie Jacob Berger of the Merritt Centennials.

The second all-star team on forward features Jonny Evans of the Kings, Brett Mennear of the Spruce Kings, Cam Donaldson of the Kings, defencemen Trevor Cosgrove of the Bulldogs and Jake Stevens of the Victoria Grizzlies. In goal is Matthew Galajda of the Grizzlies.

The teams were selected by the BCHL’s play-by-play broadcasters who surveyed the top players. It was a weighted vote with players receiving points in the tally-based on the order they were ranked by each broadcaster.
