James de Haas is in his second season of junior a hockey, first with the Vees. de Haas' greatest hockey moment was being drafted by the Detroit Red Wings during the 2012 NHL Entry Draft. The Mississauga, Ont. resident enjoys taking a nap before games as well as eating pasta and chicken. His favourite meal is the breakfast club at Triple O's. Nicknamed Jimmy, his favourite player is Scott Niedermayer because he's a good skating defenceman.
