The Penticton and Wine Country Chamber of Commerce is holding this year’s valley-wide Business After Hours in Summerland on May 10, with a theme of Summer Lovin’.

This year, the event is jointly hosted by the Summerland Chamber of Economic Development and Tourism along with the Summerland Waterfront Resort. The annual event, which runs from from 5 to 7:30 p.m., involves chambers from Osoyoos to Vernon and organizers anticipate attendance this year to be in excess of 400 people.

“This is such a great event,” said Erin Hanson, Penticton Chamber General Manager. “We look forward to it every year and our members who attend tell us it’s a terrific way to meet new business people from throughout the valley and learn about new opportunities.”

The annual event features a trade show with over 50 participants. A limited number of vendor booths for the outdoor event, said organizers, are still available.

Tickets for Business After Hours are $20 each including the appetizers and beverages and must be purchased in advance. Call 250-492-4103 to purchase tickets and for the vendor registration form.
