New directors named to CF board

Three accomplished people are adding their experience and skills to the leadership of the region’s economic development agency.

Community Futures Okanagan Similkameen announced Ron Britton of Naramata, Ben Amos of Penticton and Jim King of Osoyoos were appointed to the CFOS board of directors.

They join 12 other directors from throughout the region representing various industry sectors, small and large businesses or community agencies.

“They bring with them a great deal of expertise in business, finance, education and social policy. And, they provide strong leadership for Community Futures while also making sure it stays connected to the grassroots needs of our region,” said CFOS general manager Mary Ellen Heidt.
