The winners and favourites are in for the 2022 Penticton Western News’ Best of the South Okanagan.

In your Wednesday, July 20, print edition and online in the e-editions find out where the best sushi, pizza, burger and wings are. Discover the best place to go on a date, best patio, or view.

Have a hankering for a great breakfast place or food truck or want to go for a hike or sit on a beach, the Best of South Okanagan awards has that too.

Need to get your hair cut, buy a car, get renovations done or insurance – readers voted for their favourites so now you have recommendations that have been peer-reviewed.

This year’s Best of the South Okanagan has winners and favourites in over 90 categories as nominated and voted by readers from Summerland, Penticton to Oliver and Osoyoos and Keremeos too.

The Best of the South Okanagan showcases the amazing businesses, business people, places and spaces that make the South Okanagan such a great place to live and work.

With an overwhelming response this year, and countless businesses nominated, people can feel proud of the quality of products and services being offered in our communities. The Best Of awards is a great way for customers to support and thank the many businesses that go above and beyond.

Congratulations to the hundreds of businesses that were nominated this year.

“It’s very heartening to see residents take the time to support local businesses the way they have through the Best of the South Okanagan awards,” said Penticton Western News editor Monique Tamminga. “Looking through the categories of best restaurants, wineries, breweries, auto, real estate, wellness and more, we are so lucky to have such a variety of quality businesses to choose from.”

This year, we added a few new categories including best renovation company and best charity or non-profit.
