Volunteer support is needed for the B.C. Interior RV Show taking place at the South Okanagan Events Centre campus April 6-8.

Organizers of the non-profit B.C. Interior RV Society said they could not host a show of this size without the support of volunteers and are asking for anyone who loves the RV lifestyle or is looking for a fun social event to be a part of to contact them.

Currently, the show is looking for volunteer hosts to sell and attach wristbands at the two main entrances, plus to assist in directing guests between the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre and the SOEC for all three days. The shifts are four hours long, you will receive a $5 concession coupon per shift and a weekend wristband to enjoy the event yourself.

The annual B.C. Interior RV Show will fill 80,000 square feet of indoor space in the PTCC, the Okanagan Hockey School arena and the South Okanagan Events Centre arena plus its parking lot with over 40 different exhibitors promoting products and services related to the RV lifestyle, including the best and newest RV models in the industry. The three-day event also will host workshops and educational sessions in the PTCC.

A volunteer form can be picked up at Midtown RV at 310 Industrial Ave. W., no later than March 30, or register online at www.bcinteriorrvshow.ca.

Weekend wristbands for the show will be sold onsite (cash only) for $5. Organizers ask those attending to bring a non-perishable food item for the Salvation Army food bank. Net proceeds from the sale of the wristbands will also be donated to the Salvation Army food bank. Children under 15 are free with a paying adult.

Parking at the event is free, but will be limited due to the size of the show and other events taking place at the same time.
