Bosley’s Penticton donates bale shavings to ALERT

The 30 bales will help with future disasters and emergencies at Desert Park Equine Facility

Bosley’s by Pet Valu Penticton shared the love this Valentine’s Day by donating 30 bales of shavings to the Animal Lifeline Emergency Response Team (ALERT).

According to a release, the bales are to help prepare for this year’s emergencies and disasters. Volunteers with ALERT delivered the shavings to the Desert Park Equine Facility and Racetrack.

“ALERT is priveleged to be able to use the Desert Park facility to intake horses and livestock during emergencies and disasters,” states the release.
