The fundraiser was held Feb. 7 at Granny’s Cafe on Highway 97. It featured chili and macaroni and cheese, available by donation. By mid-afternoon, all the food was gone. The cafe raised $1,310 as a result.

Mike Boersma of Granny’s Cafe said the cafe prepared three times as much food as at a December fundraiser for the Toys and Toonies for Tots and Teens toy drive.
