Trixie the Elf isn’t happy to just sit on a shelf.

Instead, the little Santa’s helper is hiding out in parks all around Osoyoos over the holidays.

Starting on Dec. 3, the Sonora Community Centre will be releasing clues to where Trixie has been hidden for the week.

Families will have six days to find Trixie, take a photo with her in the background — without touching or moving her — and email the photo to recreation@osoyoos.ca.

Photos will be entered into a weekly draw worth $50, and a grand prize draw worth $100.

Clues will be released on EZ Rock Osoyoos on Thursdays at 8:15 a.m. on Dec. 3, 10 and 17, and will also be available on the Town of Osoyoos website at www.osoyoos.ca.

The deadline for photo submissions are 11:59 p.m. on Dec. 9, 16 and 23. Submissions must include the picture of Trixie, where she was found and a contact name and phone number.
