The Penticton Curling Club will be host to the 2021 Canadian Ski Patrol’s Winter Extreme Ski & Board Swap.

On the weekend of Sept. 17, people are able to drop off their winter sports equipment for others to browse and purchase.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, buyers and sellers will be required to show proof of at least one dose of the COVID vaccine and masks will be mandatory. All other COVID protocols will be in place as well.

No hockey equipment, toques, gloves, goggles, helmets or “straight” skis will be accepted.

Any unsafe or damaged items will be removed from the swap at the patrol’s discretion, and anything not picked up by 1 p.m. on Sunday (Sept. 19) will be disposed of.

Apex Mountain Resort will also be there selling passes for the 2021-2022 ski season.

Dates and times are as follow:

•Friday, Sept. 17 - 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.

•Saturday, Sept. 18 - 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

•Sunday, Sept. 19 - 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
